DESCRIPTION: France, crystal regulator, large oval case with beveled glasses, Arabic numeral white enamel dial with polychrome floral garlands, and signed by retailer "Bailey, Banks & Biddle Co.", gilt hands and bezel, 8 days, time and strike, pendule a Paris movement, striking hours on a gong, polished brass mercury pendulum, c1910
CONDITION: Case polished and lacquered, abrasions and minor tarnish, front glass with minor chip at upper left, left glass with a few tiny flakes, rear glass with small chip at lower right, knob on rear door an incorrect replacement, dial very good, most of retailer's signature worn off, hands with minor discoloration, movement ticks and strikes, pendulum with minor dirt and spots, upper section of tubes dirty, Ht 13 1/4"
